Measure water consumption, monitor cooling-water flow or record oil transfer with a liquid flowmeter selected for your operating conditions. SL Measurement supplies water meters, oil flowmeters, flow indicators and liquid flow switches for different measurement tasks.
Start with the liquid and the reading you need: instantaneous flow rate, accumulated volume or an alarm when flow crosses a set limit.
For consumption records, choose a meter that totals the volume passing through the pipe. The Elster Kent H4000 range provides bulk cold-water metering, while the Ryutai Kogyo ADF water flowmeter indicates instantaneous water flow.
For cooling circuits and process equipment, establish the normal flow and the lowest flow that must be detected. Include the water temperature and any additives when requesting a selection.
Tokico positive displacement flowmeters measure oil volume for transfer and usage records. Choose the mechanical or electronic version according to how you need to read, record and use the measurement.
For diesel, lubricating oil, heavy oil or crude palm oil, provide the liquid grade, minimum and maximum flow, operating temperature and viscosity. For heated oils, include start-up conditions and any heating or cleaning cycle so the meter construction and seals can be checked.
For cooling-water alarms and equipment interlocks, see the RCM Flo-Gard II liquid flow switch. A switching signal identifies a threshold condition; it does not provide an accumulated-volume reading.
A matching pipe connection alone does not confirm that a replacement is suitable. The measuring range, materials and installation requirements also need checking.
