Water flowmeters for local inspection
The ADF series uses an acrylic tapered tube so operators can read the flow directly at the instrument. It indicates instantaneous flow rather than accumulated water consumption.
For selection, provide the required water flow range, operating pressure and temperature, connection size and installation arrangement. If the liquid contains additives, identify them so material compatibility can be checked.
Panel and small-flow measurement
The GPB, GPC, PGH, GDR and AMF families offer different arrangements for compact flow measurement. GPB and GPC are glass-tube options, PGH covers purge-flow applications, GDR provides a compact threaded arrangement, and AMF uses an acrylic measuring tube.
Specify the medium and measuring range first, then confirm the mounting position, connection arrangement and whether a regulating valve is needed. For gas measurement, include the operating pressure and temperature so the scale can be selected correctly.
Glass, acrylic or metal tube?
GTF and GTV use glass measuring tubes; ATF and ATV use acrylic measuring tubes. These families allow direct observation of the float. Choose the construction according to the fluid, operating conditions and installation requirements.
The EM series provides a metal-tube alternative with magnetic transmission of the flow indication. Depending on the ordered configuration, options can include analogue output, totalising, pulse output or alarms. Confirm the required functions when requesting a quotation.
Replacing an older MCF flowmeter
MCF-V, MCF-II and MCF-H models are discontinued. The EM range is the replacement family to review, but an EM instrument should not be assumed to be a direct fit for every existing installation.
Send the complete MCF model code and a clear nameplate photograph, together with the connection dimensions, measured fluid, flow range and existing output details. This allows the proposed replacement to be checked against both the pipework and the receiving equipment.
