Palmer Wahl Products
America's first thermometer company originated in Cincinnati, OH in 1836. Since that time, Palmer Instruments has steadily evolved through product development geared exclusively towards industrial supply and process measurement. Operating from a new facility in Asheville, NC since 1987, Palmer has developed special-application products such as Dual-Sensing and "Slip-fit" thermometers, and pioneered new industry services. With the recent affiliation with Wahl Instruments, and resulting consolidation of manufacturing in Asheville, Palmer Instruments looks first to the future.
America's first thermometer company originated in Cincinnati, OH in 1836. Since that time, Palmer Instruments has steadily evolved through product development geared exclusively towards industrial supply and process measurement.
From development of the "Foster Cup" thermometer in 1880, through the radical improvement of thermometer legibility by the patented "Red Reading Mercury" tube in 1929, to today's temperature and pressure measurement innovations, Palmer has always maintained the "first" tradition by bringing instrument value, service and quality to a broad range of industries.

Palmer Wahl Differential Pressure Recorder Model 524 offers you dependability you can trust from a company you know. Designed primarily for use in the Oil and Gas industry, Differential Pressure Chart Recorders are ideal for monitoring flow*, filtration, and liquid levels. Palmer’s DP Recorder measures the differential between two inputs, from 20 to 400 Inches of Water. Maximum input pressure up to 2500 psi.
This model is also available with up to two additional pens for measuring static pressure up to 30,000 PSI or 600 Bar; and/or temperature from -30° to 600°F (0° to 300°C), with non-mercury temperature elements and 10 feet of capillary standard.
The Wahl DP Series Differential Pressure Transducers / Transmitters are extremely reliable, small and lightweight piezoresistive pressure sensors in a compact, rugged, all 304 stainless steel housing and sensor, rated at IP67.
Appropriate for harsh environments, outdoor monitoring or in applications where dust and particulate matter may exist, they utilize silicon sensors resistant to shock, vibration, EMI/RFI and wide temperature variations.
Palmer Aluminum Case Pressure and Temperature Chart Recorders provide proven reliability for accurate measurement and recording of pressure and temperature in many applications. Since 1962 we have manufactured and supplied recorders for industry in the U.S. and around the world. Palmer Recorders are designed for indoor or outdoor use, and provide long service life, even in harsh conditions. Many of our Recorders are still in service after 50 years!
The Wahl SS Series Silicon Pressure Transducers / Transmitters are extremely reliable, small and lightweight piezoresistive pressure sensors in a compact, rugged, all 304 stainless steel housing and sensor, rated at IP67.
The Wahl CS Series Ceramic Pressure Transducers / Transmitters utilize a ceramic pressure measurement sensor that is highly resistant to corrosion and chemicals. These sensors are extremely reliable, small and lightweight piezoresistive pressure sensors in a compact, rugged, all 304 stainless steel body, rated at IP67.
