Environmental Monitoring System

Wireless environmental monitoring systems help you track temperature, humidity and other conditions across your site. SL Process Measurement supplies Dickson OCEAView and Monnit monitoring products in Singapore, with options for facilities, storage areas, laboratories and equipment monitoring.

From individual sensors to a monitoring system

A connected monitoring system brings sensor readings together so you can review conditions and respond to changes. Choose the sensors, gateway and monitoring software as a compatible system, based on what you need to measure and how you want to access the results.

  • Temperature and humidity: Monitor rooms, storage areas and equipment with suitable sensors and probes.
  • CO₂: Track carbon dioxide levels where this measurement forms part of your environmental monitoring requirements.
  • Pressure and differential pressure: Select the appropriate sensor for the measurement range, medium and connection.
  • Soil moisture: Use dedicated sensors for growing areas and other suitable soil monitoring applications.

Dickson OCEAView and Monnit options

Dickson OCEAView provides environmental monitoring with compatible wireless sensors and data loggers, bringing together remote access, measurement records and alert notifications.

Monnit offers wireless sensors for temperature, humidity, CO₂, pressure, differential pressure and soil moisture. Select compatible gateways and iMonnit software according to your sensor types, site layout and monitoring requirements.

21 CFR Part 11 compliance and GxP traceability

Dickson OCEAView is compliant with FDA 21 CFR Part 11 and GxP guidelines, as described by Dickson. Its traceability functions include an auditable, non-modifiable system log and records of measurements, alarms, user actions, acknowledgements and system events. These features support electronic record integrity, quality review and investigations in pharmaceutical, laboratory and other controlled environments.

For regulated projects, specify the software configuration, user access controls, calibration records and validation documentation required by your quality team. Qualification and operating procedures should be agreed for the installed system.

What to confirm before selecting

Tell us the parameters and ranges, number of monitoring points, site layout and required recording interval. Include any alert requirements, network restrictions, calibration needs and preference for cloud or local data access. Walls, equipment and gateway position can affect wireless coverage, so the layout needs assessing before installation.

For pharmaceutical or other controlled environments, include your documentation and validation requirements in the enquiry so these can be checked against the proposed configuration.

Long Range Wireless Thermocouple (Temperature) Sensor
  • Out-of-Stock

Monnit ALTA® Wireless Thermocouple Sensors leverage Monnit’s award-winning remote monitoring platform to remotely monitor high-temperature applications, such as commercial ovens, kilns, and chimneys. Users benefit from a wireless data transmission range of 1,200+ ft, bank-grade security, and a temperature range of up to 400°C (752°F).

Monnit’s thermocouple is user-programmed to sleep for a specified interval, awake, capture analog data, and then convert this measurement into a temperature. If the sensor captures temperatures outside of user-specified thresholds, an alert is sent via text, email, or call. Monnit’s hardwired thermocouples feature a needle-style probe at the end of a 6’ lead (a K-Type Quick Connect Thermocouple is also available).

Long Range Wireless Soil Moisture Sensor
  • Out-of-Stock

Monnit ALTA Soil Moisture Sensor measures soil moisture tension & soil temperature within the soil. It uses a resistive granular matrix element to accurately measure the matric water potential (soil moisture tension) in the soil and a thermistor based temperature element to measure temperature.

- Safe to use in both hot & freezing temperatures
- Reports matric potential (soil water tension)
- Moisture readings in centibar & kPa
- 0 to 240 centibar (kPA)
- Will not dissolve in soil
- Internally compensated for commonly found salinity levels
- Easy to install and use compared to traditional tensiometers
- Stainless steel electrodes
- No maintenance required
- Temperature readings in C/F.
- 5 ft removable lead
