Mechanical oil flowmeters
A mechanical totaliser provides a local reading of accumulated volume. The FGB, FRO, FRP and FRA families cover different flow capacities, with counter arrangements depending on the selected model.
Electronic oil flowmeters
An electronic counter provides digital indication at the meter. Type 75 counter functions include total volume, a resettable counter and instantaneous flow indication; available outputs depend on configuration.
Confirm the power supply and output specification when connecting the meter to a PLC, remote counter or recording system.
Selecting a Tokico flowmeter for your oil
- Diesel and light oil: Provide the minimum, normal and maximum flow rates, together with operating hours.
- Heavy oil and lubricants: Specify the oil grade, viscosity at operating temperature and available pressure.
- Crude palm oil: Include transfer temperature, viscosity, composition and cleaning conditions so material and temperature compatibility can be checked.
Choose the meter by its operating flow range and liquid conditions, rather than pipe diameter alone. Include connection standards and installation orientation in your enquiry.
