Measure small stationary surfaces with Anritsu CS Series micro surface temperature probes. Choose the sensing head, shaft arrangement and connector to suit the measurement point and your thermometer.
- Head sizes: 3 mm, 4.2 mm or 6 mm diameter, and 2 × 10 mm rectangular options.
- Temperature range: -50 to 400°C, or -50 to 600°C for CS-7 models.

The Anritsu CS Series provides compact contact sensors for measuring the temperature of stationary surfaces. Different sensing-head sizes and shaft arrangements help you select a probe that can reach the measurement point and sit correctly against the target.

Selection tip: Check the space around the target as well as its contact area. An angled shaft may improve access where a straight probe cannot approach the surface squarely.

Test conditions: Tolerance and response figures apply to stationary, flat, smooth metal surfaces. Durability is evaluated at 300°C while maintaining the specified tolerance. The temperature range applies to the sensing head; the grip, cable and plug have separate limits.

Choosing a probe for your measurement point
- Contact area: Provide the dimensions and a photograph of the surface to be measured.
- Access: State the available clearance and whether the probe must approach from above or from the side.
- Temperature: Include the normal operating temperature and highest expected temperature.
- Instrument connection: Identify the thermometer model, thermocouple input and connector.
- Handling: Specify handheld use or a proposed mounting arrangement.
