Anritsu HR Series Handheld Digital Thermometer
The Anritsu HR series handheld digital thermometer offers Type K or Type E thermocouple models for contact temperature measurement. Choose from basic, standard, LED-display and memory versions, then match the instrument with a probe suited to your application.
- Model choices: HR-1100/1150 through HR-1750.
- Probe connections: ASP or ANP, depending on model.
- Application options: Selected models offer IPX5-equivalent water resistance; HR-1500/1550 models provide memory recording.
Temperature probes are sold separately.
Select the thermometer around the way you work. The Anritsu HR series includes instruments for straightforward temperature checks, enhanced measurement functions, LED indication and stored readings.
These Japanese-made contact thermometers use a separate temperature probe. The correct combination depends on the measurement surface or material, temperature range, connector and functions required.

Add the appropriate K or E suffix to identify the thermocouple input, for example HR-1250K or HR-1250E. The input type is fixed and cannot be switched between K and E.

The probe's rated range may be narrower than the thermometer's range. Select the probe and indicator as a complete measurement system.
Which Models Have Water Resistance?
Anritsu specifies IPX5-equivalent water resistance for HR-1100/1150, HR-1200/1250, HR-1400/1450, HR-1650 and HR-1750 models. This rating does not apply to the entire HR range.
For work near water, check the suitability of the probe and connection arrangement as well as the instrument. Follow the manufacturer's handling instructions; water resistance does not mean the instrument can be immersed.
Choose the Probe for the Measurement
The measurement task should determine the probe design. Before ordering, describe what you need to measure and how the sensor will reach it.

Memory Recording and Existing Equipment
HR-1500 and HR-1550 models provide memory recording, including readings taken at selected intervals. If computer transfer is required, include the communication cable and software requirements in your enquiry.
When replacing an existing Anritsu thermometer, provide the complete instrument and probe model numbers. Check both the thermocouple type and connector before reusing a probe.
