Evikon measurement transmitters
Evikon transmitters convert gas concentration, temperature, humidity and differential pressure measurements into signals for monitoring and control equipment. SL Measurement supplies options for duct measurement, room conditions and gas monitoring.
Select the transmitter around the measurement range, sensor location and receiving system. Confirm the required analogue signal or digital interface before choosing a configuration.
Duct humidity and temperature measurement
For ventilation ducts, position the sensor where it can measure representative air conditions. Check the available insertion space, access for maintenance and the possibility of condensation.
- Evikon E2218-DM duct transmitter — measures relative humidity and temperature using a 200 mm insertion probe. It also provides calculated dew point and absolute humidity values, configurable analogue outputs and RS485 Modbus RTU.
Specify the required parameter and scale for each output. The sensor is intended for air and non-aggressive gases under the stated operating conditions.
Wall and duct humidity transmitters
Choose the mounting arrangement to suit the measurement location. Wall-mounted and duct-mounted instruments place the sensing element differently, so the installation must be considered alongside the measurement range.
Low differential pressure transmitters
Room pressure, ventilation and filter monitoring involve measuring the difference between two pressure points. Select a range that covers normal operation and expected pressure changes.
Include the normal pressure difference, required measurement direction and tubing arrangement in your enquiry. Check both the range and accuracy against the pressure limits being monitored.
Gas concentration transmitters
Gas transmitters must be selected for the specific gas and concentration range. Identify the gas by name, including the refrigerant designation where applicable, and describe the installation environment.
- Evikon E2618 gas transmitters — explore gas-specific configurations for carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, ammonia, oxygen, combustible gases and refrigerants. Sensor arrangements and measurement ranges depend on the selected model.
Attached and remote sensor options allow different installation arrangements. Confirm the sensor configuration, output signals and any required alarm or control functions for the complete system.
Connecting to your control or monitoring system
Check the transmitter specification against the receiving equipment before ordering. Output availability and wiring requirements differ between models.
- 4–20 mA: Confirm the controller input, wiring arrangement and measurement scale.
- 0–10 V: Check voltage-input compatibility and signal reference.
- RS485 Modbus RTU: Confirm that the selected model provides Modbus and that the host supports its communication settings and registers.
- Power: Specify the available supply voltage and any required AC option.
- Installation: Include sensor position, cable routing, mounting space and environmental exposure.
Replacement sensors and existing installations
For replacement enquiries, send the full transmitter code, sensor reference and a photograph of the wiring terminals. Include the configured range and the model of the receiving controller or monitoring system.
For remote sensors, specify the existing cable length and connection arrangement. Compatibility should be checked against the exact transmitter and sensor combination.
Request an Evikon quotation
Send the measurement parameter, required range, mounting arrangement, output signal and quantity. For gas applications, include the target gas and expected concentration. For duct or room monitoring, describe the measurement location and operating conditions.
