Measurement range depends on the connected probe. Specify the required logger and probe combination when ordering.
Each channel stores up to 16,000 readings. Four logging modes let you choose how the memory is used:
A preset start function allows recording to begin at a scheduled date and time. Select the interval around the changes you need to capture and the duration of the study.
For a short equipment check, closely spaced readings may be useful. For longer storage monitoring, consider the required review frequency and how much history must remain available before downloading.
The included software supports data analysis and real-time transmission to a connected PC. Logged data can also be copied to microSD, while CSV export supports further review in compatible spreadsheet software.
Before starting a recording session, assign clear logger identification and confirm the date, time and recording settings. For software use, check compatibility with the intended PC operating system.

Choose the probe around the actual measurement location. Consider the required temperature or humidity range, cable length, access and environmental conditions.
For refrigerator or freezer measurements, check the probe rating and cable route while keeping the logger within its own operating limits. For room monitoring, select a position representative of the area being assessed.
Review the model and probe specifications together. Display resolution alone does not describe the accuracy of the complete measurement system.

Monnit ALTA® Wireless Thermocouple Sensors leverage Monnit’s award-winning remote monitoring platform to remotely monitor high-temperature applications, such as commercial ovens, kilns, and chimneys.
