Choose Advantec No. 5A for fast filtration of coarse and gelatinous precipitates during quantitative analysis. These circular filter papers measure 47 mm in diameter and have approximately 7 µm particle retention.
100 sheets per pack. The low ash content of approximately 0.01% makes No. 5A suitable for analytical work where filter residue matters. Check that the 47 mm diameter fits your filtration setup before ordering.
Prepare samples with a quantitative filter paper designed for fast flow and coarse particle retention. Advantec No. 5A is made from high-purity cellulose and treated to reduce ash content, making it useful for filtering precipitates before analytical measurements.

The fast-flow grade is intended for coarse or gelatinous precipitates, including iron and aluminium hydroxides. It can also be used in analytical procedures such as silica determination, where the prescribed method calls for No. 5A paper.
Before ordering: Confirm the required grade and 47 mm diameter in your test method. For finer particle retention, select the grade specified by that method.
