Installation of the Tokico emergency shutoff valve is required at various industrial equipments by the High Pressure Gas Safety Law and the Fire Defense Law.
In the MB series of emergency shutoff valve, CO2 gas cartridge with high initial torque is adopted as drive source, and ball valve making smooth movement is adopted at the valve part.
It shutoffs urgently or opens the pipelines of various fluids and is most suitable as safety disaster prevention equipment which prevents second disaster from occurring.
Flow Accessories
Flow systems often need more than a meter. A flow switch provides an alarm contact, a back pressure regulator controls upstream gas pressure, and a shutoff valve isolates a pipeline when triggered.

Liquid flow switches for alarms and interlocks
The RCM Flo-Gard II liquid flow switch provides a contact signal when flow crosses a selected setpoint. Suitable applications include cooling-water circuits, chillers and compatible process-liquid systems.
Specify the normal operating flow, required switching point and electrical contact requirements. Body materials, seals and installation configuration must suit the liquid and operating environment.
Gas back pressure regulators
The KOFLOC 6800 series gas back pressure regulator controls pressure on the upstream side by releasing gas when pressure exceeds the selected setting.
For selection, provide the gas, required pressure setting, expected exhaust flow and downstream conditions. Confirm material compatibility and the required connection size for the selected model.
Emergency shutoff valves
The Tokico MB series emergency shutoff valve uses a carbon dioxide cartridge to drive the valve mechanism. Available configurations use different triggering arrangements, including electrical and line-pressure signals.
Selection requires the pipeline medium, pressure, temperature, connection details and intended shutdown sequence. Confirm the trigger, valve action and reset arrangement against the requirements of the complete installation.

The KOFLOC 6800 series regulates pressure on the upstream side of a gas system by releasing gas when pressure exceeds the selected setting. Its compact design suits panel-mounted equipment and tank pressure control.
- Pressure settings: 0.01–0.3 or 0.01–0.6 MPa(G), depending on model.
- Maximum exhaust flow: 0.8, 1 or 10 L/min, depending on model and operating conditions.
- Connections: Rc 1/4 or Rc 1/8.
- Selection: Four versions with material options to suit the gas.
RCM Flo-Gard II liquid flow switches detect when flow crosses a selected setpoint, providing a contact signal for an alarm or equipment interlock. Applications include cooling-water circuits, chillers and compatible process-liquid systems.
- Switch options: One or two independently adjustable SPDT reed switches.
